PHYSICAL AFFECTION: He might be a little awkward, but he'll appreciate it.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Not much of a fighter unless he's provoked......Or relapsing. In which case he does turn into a literal zombie and will try to maim/kill/eat someone.

ROMANCE/FLIRTING: Sure! He's pansexual but he does heavily lean towards males in general. He's not too much of a flirt and he seems to gravitate towards deep-formed relationships rather than shallow ones.

SEXUAL CONTENT: He's of age! However, being a PSD sufferer means that he is a bit...uncertain of that aspect of his life now. It would be genuinely interesting to explore since sex with a PSD sufferer is deemed a fetish in his world now. Kieren isn't the one-night stand personality type either alive or dead: he definitely needs to be dating someone to be intimate with them.

PSYCHIC ABILITIES: As the series was cancelled before this was thoroughly explored, we will never really know if Kieren has some kind of "ability" he is unaware of. It is suggested that he was the First Risen and was the literal cause for the dead to rise up. But without any specific details given, it's impossible to insinuate how that occurred, if it really was Kieren, if it was coincidental, or what. Therefor, as far as we know, Kieren is a regular PSD sufferer which has no "psychic" abilities or otherwise.

MAGIC/POWERS: Kieren doesn't really have "powers" but he does have abnormalities that separate him from regular people. I guess if you want to consider it a power, he can get drunk/high off raw animal brains?

MEDICAL INFORMATION: He's what's known as a Partially Deceased Syndrome sufferer. This means that he has experienced death, and through The Rising, was brought back to "life." Originally, PSD sufferers were in what is coined "an untreated state" where they essentially looked and acted like classic zombies. They would attack and eat people and be very hostile- but they weren't completely unaware or stupid as it is shown both with Kieren and other untreated PSD sufferers that they seemed to be capable of planning things. Someone eventually discovered a "cure" for these living dead which involves giving a serum to the back of the neck which helps regulate brain activity and convince the brain that the body is alive- thus allowing Kieren to live a "normal" life. OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS OR TRIGGERS: Kieren does not like the word 'zombie' or 'rotter' as they hold derogatory meanings in his world. Despite being ashamed of what he is, he is sensitive towards those like him and will find people's cruelty towards the undead offensive and disheartening. He is progressive mentally, being fully comfortable with his sexuality and sexuality as a whole. He has an open mind and will actively look down on people who are ignorant or have generally shitty opinions (ie racism, ableism, sexism, etc.) Despite having killed himself, he seems fine with making casual jokes about it but only with the right kind of person and after they have learned what happened. Otherwise he's reluctant to bring up that he killed himself at all.

I like to keep tags relatively fresh and complete scenes or at least get to a comfortable part of being able to say that the intended point of the scene has been accomplished. I don't really enjoy tagging things from months ago- but I don't mind that if it's a really important scene.

Kieren Walker is technically your traditional zombie- he's been medicated to function as a "regular human" in day to day society. He has a fairly graphic history, so any of the following might come up in interactions with Kieren:

★ General medical use of needles/medicine etc

A B O U T; what it means to be a PDS sufferer.

★ Since Kieren is dead, his skin physically feels like a corpse's- so cold and maybe a little waxy?

★ He uses contacts and heavy make-up on his exposed skin in order to pass as "living." It has been noted that he isn't very good at the make-up, so people with an eye for make-up might be able to tell he is wearing heavy foundation. They won't automatically be able to tell why of course, but it is a thing.

★ This poor boy apparently doesn't know what setting spray or powder is because his make-up streaks easily when people actively grab at his skin. When Amy pinches his face up to squish it, you can see her dragging away make-up and revealing a lot paler skin beneath.

★ Kieren has a few various looks without his make-up and contacts. It seems to depend on how his body is physically feeling/how long it's been since he's had his medicine. This video contains all his different appearances- his most gruesome looking one is him untreated.

★ Kieren, currently, does not have physical sensation. It is proven in the show that some PDS sufferers do begin to regain sensation. I plan to explore this in game.

★ Kieren was capable of pulling himself back out of his rabid state with the aid of his father, suggesting that the medicine is truly reconstructing the brain or Kieren is something special. Either way, he can be talked out of a rabid state.

★ He has permanent slits down both his wrists from when he killed himself- and they are not scars. They look as they had when he was treated in the morgue. He always wears long-sleeved shirts and sweaters to cover these scars.

★ Kieren cannot eat normal food. He will get sick from it. He will "pretend to eat" if it makes people comfortable. The only "food" he can eat is human flesh or animal corpses- though eating the latter's brains is his version of being able to get intoxicated.

★ Kieren does require a daily sort of medicine to keep him from reverting back to an "untreated" state (aka going full zombie.)
